These are photographs taken at Silverstone and Donnington.They are a reminder of many happy hours "hanging about "the pit lane and a sad reminder of people and teams I thought would be here forever.They also are a reminder of all the great shots I never took !

At the time I took this shot I had run out of colour film and I only had a "free" black and white film that I had got off the front of a photo mag . Modern F1 is all about colour and I thought B+W useless ,until I checked out the negs for this shot quite a few years later .Strange though .the only driver I ever shot in black and white was sadly to die shortly afterwards .Think I'll make sure my last roll is always colour, just to be safe
