As ever the weather dominated the 3 day pre GP test at Silverstone 1-3 of june .The first day was very wet later in the morning and although it makes for interesting shots ,also makes for damp equipment and slow shutter speeds.Although the sun broke through at various times ,it was generally fairly dull ,though of course the track action of a pit lane full of cars ,a sound that should be bottled and then banned as an addictive drug ,and with most of the F1 stars present , the whole spectacle is beyond any attempt by the weather to spoil it .While the public may get a few hours of GP adrenaline at the race and wonder why they are quite a bit poorer and Bernie is much much richer ,here they get 3 days worth for nothing .



Fot the various fan clubs and team guests this is their big day ,though the Michael Schumacher fan club was disappointed to find the object of their worship was....like most dieties....... absent.
No-one cares too much .When the first car of the day fires up everyone is (almost ) forgiven and the emotions surrender to the greatest sound on earth ..... an F1 car flat out
